It is the first day of August, and this email concerns December!

 

Our Villas bylaws in Section 2.3 call for our Annual Meeting to be held at 7:00 p.m. on the first Monday of December which is December 2nd. This year Thanksgiving Weekend is from Thursday, 11/28 to Sunday, 12/1.

 

The bylaws in Section 2.3 & 2.4 allow the Annual Meeting to be held at a different time.

 

Voting on the 2025 budget and on those unit owners standing for election to the board would be challenging during Thanksgiving week and many of our unit owners may still be traveling on Monday, 12/2 or recovering from lots of family activities during the weekend. Therefore, the board plans to hold the Villas Annual Meeting on the following Monday, 12/9 at 1:30 p.m. The daylight meeting time seems wiser for our community and has been our practice for several years.
