The community is doing fine so far, a few minor issues reported by Mark. A dead tree down that is not an issue, a section of fence down around bldg. 5. We already had plans to move that fence in 2019  so this is not a big deal.

 

The rain and wind will continue into tomorrow so we need to stay the course.

 

Keep up with the local weather on WRAL or WTVD and find projects within the house to do. We cleaned out about 10 years of files we did not need any more to while away the afternoon.

 

The storm churn is counterclockwise so we are in the zone where small tornados can occur. We keep a WRAL storm website active on our phones so we get warnings of special wind or water issues.

 

Water and fuel is available so no need to worry about that. Grocery stores are being restocked as we speak so not to worry on that account either.

 

Bob Nemes has volunteered to get in the pool and retrieve all of the pool furniture that Mark and the team stored there during the storm. Kudos to Bob.
