Elections Committee Updates

The Elections Committee has been working with the Towne Properties Manager and representatives from the Board of the Villas to make plans for the Annual Meeting and Election.
The Annual Meeting date has been set for November 5, 2018.
Since the Villas clubhouse can legally accommodate 83 attendees for an event, it was suggested that the Annual Meeting needed a larger venue. We have averaged 100 to 130 owners in the past two years.
With the help of Terry Pike and Nancy Brooks, we were able to secure a reservation at the United Methodist Church Family Life Center on the corner of South Main and Highway 98. It is a spacious center with enough room for over 150 attendees.

1 PM (registration will begin at 12:30)

Election: 3 Board positions
Terms expiring: Ed Dougherty, Barb Feller, Tom Taylor
Mailing from Towne Properties: Will include all documents needed for the Election and Budget approval. Mailing will go out about October 18th – as soon as the budget is approved
Nomination forms will be in the mailing. The goal is to post the nominee bios on the bulletin board in the clubhouse and the website. Nominees will have time at the meeting to speak. Nominations may also be made from the floor.
The Elections Committee will send out information as it is received and approved. Any of the members of the Committee can assist you with your questions.
