Posted on Apr 18th, 2026

You are receiving this message as your building is scheduled to be washed and painted in May. (The work will begin around May 20th.)

The exact order of buildings has not been determined yet and you will receive another message with those details when we get closer to the date.

Please do me a favor and verify that everyone in your building is aware of this project - as a few folks may have difficulty with email.

The first action will be a thorough soft washing of the siding & trim.

Next comes the preparation which includes loose/rotten board repairs and caulking.

Lastly, two coats of siding paint will be brushed on in addition to painting of the white trim.

Power Washing Preparation for Your Home Painting Project

Dear Homeowners,

As part of our comprehensive painting service, we will be power washing the exterior of your home to ensure a clean surface for optimal paint adherence. Here's what you can expect:
  1. Environmentally and Pet-Safe Products: We use soaps and chemicals that are safe for the environment and your pets.
  2. Soft Wash and Rinse: Our process involves a gentle wash and rinse, avoiding high-pressure washing to protect your home's exterior surfaces.
  3. Water Access: We will need to utilize your home's water supply for the power washing process.
Preparation Steps for Homeowners:
  • Close All Windows: Ensure all windows are properly shut to prevent water from entering your home.
  • Remove Personal Belongings: Please remove and store any items you don't want to get wet.
  • Access to Backyard: Leave all back gates open to provide our crew with easy access.
  • Trim Vegetation: Trim any bushes, trees, or shrubs that are close to the exterior walls to give our crew unobstructed access.
  • Secure Pets: Ensure pets are kept inside or in a safe area away from the work zones.
  • Parking: Move vehicles away from the house to provide clear access for our equipment and to prevent any accidental overspray.
  • Inform Neighbors: Let your neighbors know about the scheduled work to avoid any inconvenience.
Our Crew's Responsibility:
  • Moving Outdoor Items: Our crew will move any items left outside around your home away from the house (about 4 to 8 feet) during the washing and painting process. These items will be returned to their original spots after the work is completed.
Following these steps will help us deliver the best possible results for your home's painting project. Thank you for your cooperation.
