On behalf of the VFW I'd like to sincerely thank the residents of the Villas for making the Oktoberfest another very successful event.  We raised $485 from food and drink sales, and $1,475 from donations for a grand total of $1,960.  This includes a VERY generous anonymous donation of $1,000. As you know, all funds generated by our VFW are used locally to help Veterans in need.

We enjoy coming to the Villas and everyone working the event commented how nice the people are.  Who knows, we may even have one or two as neighbors some day!

Finally, I want Kathee Bailey to know how much we appreciate her.

Thanks again,
Al
