NOTES: 

Micheal Keaton plays the role of the convict. Until this movie, I had only seen Keaton in romantic comedy films, a very lightweight actor. Then this comes along - wow... This is all drama and action, and he takes his acting to a whole new level for this movie. He was extremely scary and very believable in the role. I would go so far as to say its probably the best drama movie he has ever done. By the time the movie ended, I was exhausted watching what this cop went through to save his son.
