Here's some helpful information for you to know, for this coming Saturday!!
DIRECTIONS: Durant Nature Park / Campbell Lodge
- Take US-1 / Capital Blvd south towards Raleigh.
- Turn right onto Gresham Lake Road.
- Turn right onto Burwell Street after crossing the railroad tracks (0.5 miles)
- Burwell Street makes a 90 degree left and becomes Spottswood Street
- Durant Nature Preserve entrance is just past the chainlink fence on your right.
* Social Committee members and set-up crew (Al Zack has organized. as he puts it "A Few Good Men") should arrive at 3:30. Let's give them space!
*Ladies who are doing centerpieces should arrive 3:45 -4:00 to decorate their tables.
*Outside entertainment will begin at 4:15 for those to enjoy while waiting for the doors to open at 4:30.
*Campbell Lodge Policies' to Preserve Their Beautiful Hardwood Floors (1) Those of us bringing our own beverages are to only bring white wines, champagnes, or beer. (2) We have had a request for line dancing and are working hard to make that happen at the end of the party, if you wish to dance make sure your shoes have tennis shoe type soft soles. (For your safety as well as marks on the beautiful hardwoods.)
*In compliance with the City of Raleigh public health policy masks at indoor events are required. As in restaurants these
will be off while dining and sipping.
