QUICK BACKGROUND - COMMUNITY WEBSITE & DISTRIBUTION LISTS:
New residents are typically contacted by a member of the Communications Committee very soon upon moving into the Villas. Details are collected about new resident(s): name, street address, email addresses, phone numbers, etc. That information is used to create account(s) for our community website. Additionally, the email address(es) are added to the three distribution lists (main list, just ladies, just men) as appropriate.
 
Thus, new residents are quickly given access to the information enjoyed by all residents. YOU DO NOT NEED TO SUBMIT A REQUEST TO CREATE A COMMUNITY WEBSITE ACCOUNT(S) OR JOIN THE DISTRIBUTION LISTS.
 
 
EMAIL DISTRIBUTION LISTS DETAILS:
 
Besides postings on the community bulletin board inside the Clubhouse, there are several email distribution lists and a community website as a way of keeping residents informed.
 
The distribution lists are used predominantly by the community Board of Directors and social groups to communicate important business news and social activities that may be of interest to you.
 
AN FYI REGARDING ADDING YOUR EMAIL TO THE DISTRIBUTION LISTS:
If possible, your email address(es) has been added to the appropriate list(s). If you have an GMAIL address, your email address has been added DIRECTLY to the list(s).

BUT… if you have any other address (like AOL, Yahoo or Roadrunner), you have been sent an invitation to join the list. When you receive the invitation email from Google Groups, you MUST click the ACCEPT button within the email to accept the invite and add your email address to that distribution list. ONLY AFTER ACCEPTING THE INVITATION IS YOUR EMAIL ADDRESS ADDED TO THE LIST.
 
Once included on the list, you should begin receiving emails within the next day or so. FYI - Only a manager of a list is allowed to send emails to residents. You can reply to an email to send a comment or question back to only the author of the email but not to the whole community.

LAST NOTE: The distribution lists are created and maintained manually. The lists are TOTALLY SEPARATE from the community website directories. Updating one does NOT update the other.
 
 
VILLAS WEBSITES - THERE ARE 2...
 
BUSINESS WEBSITE:
In late 2019, management of the community was transitioned to York Properties. York maintains its own website for business purposes. For a resident, work order maintenance and architectural change requests are submitted using the York site. You are encouraged to register and create a user account for this York site. The Communications Committee does NOT have the ability to create user accounts for this website.

COMMUNITY WEBSITE:
This second website is used predominantly for social functions within the community. The site also has a few business features but it has no direct links or association with the York website. The Communication Committee members are the administrators for this website. ALL the information below is for the community website.
 
Probably the most popular information on this community website is the calendar of social activities for the month. No login is needed to view the calendar of events. Simply go the main web address listed below. Once there, select the menu item for “Calendar”. If a paper printout is desired, use the PRINT link inside the webpage to make a paper copy of that month’s calendar. But be sure and follow the tips in the website tutorial for the website on how to view, print, or copy the calendar events:

The community web address is NOT case sensitive. It is typed that way so it is easier to read and remember.
 
After your account(s) is/are created, you will be sent the login information via a separate email. Please note - the login username is NOT case sensitive, but the password IS case sensitive.
 
Once you have logged into the website, look for the link “Profile” in the upper right corner of the window. If you select the PROFILE link and follow the additional links, it will allow you to set your username, password, and contact details to your preferences.
