Submitted by Wayne Wachtstetter on Jul 23, 2018

They are as simple to make as they are good to eat.

Servings:
10

Complexity:
Very Easy

Total Time:
30 min.

Ingredients:
1/2 lb Pound Cake
1/4 cup Sugar
3 tbs Corn Syrup
1 tbs Cocoa
1/4 cup Kentucky Bourbon
2 cups Dark Chocolate or Chocolate Chips

Directions:
1. In a mixer with a paddle attachment combine the pound cake, sugar, corn syrup, cocoa and Bourbon and mix well.
2. Using a small scoop (#40), scoop and roll into balls.
3. Melt the chocolate and dip the Bourbon balls to coat well.
4. Chill to set up chocolate and serve.

Cook's Notes:
You can also roll the Bourbon balls in different things after dipping in chocolate:
* Toasted and chopped pecans.
* Mini chocolate chips.
* Toasted coconut.
* Chocolate sprinkles.
* Cocoa.
* Powdered sugar.
You can put a maraschino cherry inside the Bourbon ball before dipping -- tasty.
Makes about 10 - 12 Bourbon balls.
